It works, but not great. I have to take twice the recommended dosage (which I probably shouldn't) just to get some effect. I do still take it most mornings, though, because I have year-round allergies and sinus problems and usually wake up with a lot of congestion. On the plus side, a couple of tablets in the morning will usually decongest me enough to get me through the day. It does occasionally make me thirsty and tired.

The taste is the worst thing ever and when you burp throughout the day the taste lingers in your mouth. I have noticed an improvement with my skin.

I did feel better in the beginning. There is a noticeable energy lift and feeling of well being. But unfortunatly there is also intense emotions and difficulty breathing, expecially in bed. I don't like the feeling of slight suffocation. It causes me anxiety. For that reason I am seeing my doctor and electing to take the shot instead. I take it whenever I need it, sometimes with ibuprofen, and it always helps. Without food though, I get nauseous.

It was used post-shoulder surgery as a pain reliever. I stopped taking it because of its awful side effects that caused vomiting, nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, and fatigue.

My blood pressure was so high that I thought I was going to have to go to the E.R.. Atenolol has definittely helped but it also makes me sick to my stomach
