The pill was effective as a contraceptive, but I did not have a good experience with the side effects of the medication despite this being a "low dose" bcp. However, that being said, everyone has a different experience with different medications especially with the bcp because of people's different reactions to the hormones. I experienced headaches, fatigue, moodiness, and a considerable increase in breast size.

My nutritionist recommended Zyflamend to me for my fibromyalgia and ankylosing spondilitis as well as osteoarthritis which I have had for thirty years. It was amazing: within two weeks the burning skin pain associated with fibro was gone, the chronic back pain was gone, and my hands (I teach piano) were more flexible. I would rather take "Claritin D" rather than regular Claritin, but I stay away from decongestants because of a minor heart tachycardia. Taking Claritin regularly keeps the severity of my seasonal allergic reactions to a minimum, but it certainly does not stop all problems. It seems to be particularly ineffective at helping eye and nasal symptoms.

I have tried levothyroxine, synthroid, armour and now tirosint. I get the same reaction with all of them. About twelve hrs after taking it, I start to feel nauseous and extremely gassy. I have hashimoto's and had a total thyroidectomy three weeks ago.
