Nexium has helped take away my acid reflux. If I don't take it for a few days, I have really bad acid and heartburn. My acid is really, really bad, and I have tried many different medications and none, except for Nexium, have worked. It is the only one that has also taken away my stomach pains. I would recommend it for everyone.

I find that my appetite is HUGE if I am off by just an hour of taking my meds. My weight has increase 20 pounds on this med. I get horrible night sweats and insomnia. I"m lucky to be able to sleep more than 4 hours at a stretch. I haven't changed meds because I've moved and haven't found a new doc.

This was by far the worst experience of my life. I had taken other BC pills off and on since I was a teen and even though some were slightly bothersome, they were tolerable - I am now 35 and can't believe how awful this particular pill was. I am about to go for a test to see if I had a stroke while on it, as i have had noticeable short term memory loss. Pristiq has improved my feeling of well being 100%. The worst side effect is the blurred vision and I am concerned if I should go off the drug, and if my vision will return to normal after quitting the drug. I have also experienced sweeling in my left lower leg. Don't know if it is my first time with shin splints or if it has to do with the drug. Had a very mild and only occasional headache during the first three days.
