I take lasix because of water retentino. I have to take it with potassium. It works very well, and I urinate alot. It took water off my swollen leg. But if you take it too much, you can have kidney faliure.

As stated above, it does seem to help with my blood pressure, but I seem to be more irritated than I was before I originally started the medication. It is worth putting up with for the benefit of the medication though.

During the first week I took half a dose and experienced a pretty strong distaste to all foods. Even when I was hungry, the sight and smell of food made me feel sick. This went away during the second week. My only other side effect is that I don't sleep as much as I used to. Also, it tends to wear off suddenly between doses. I'm sure that has to do with my not finding the proper dosage for me (I've only been on it for about 4 weeks), but that is something to keep in mind when considering... View full comment

I have been taking Avonex for about 15 years. I credit Avonex for my ability to keep walking and to continue living a fairly normal life, with a family and a 20-hour job. I think I would be in a wheelchair if I never took Avonex. I am alarmed about the increasing thinness of my skin and also by muscle cramping in my legs and, most recently, my hand. I am concerned that these symptoms could be caused by the drug.

Hard to say how it would affect others. Took 18 months to control my anxiety. But it works, and keeps on working. Sadly I have lost passions for films, friends, girlfriends, and sports since taking Sertraline. It does work, but there is a price to pay
