I began with Effexor a few years ago. It worked wonderfully at first, and then I experienced severe side effects. I switched to Cymbalta with great success without the side effects. I sleep well and feel "connected" and balanced. I went off Cymbalta for a few months, without problem. I've recently gone back on, due to some rough life changes. I'm an athlete and I've realized days that I happen to drink green tea, I am a lot more dehydrated out on the track. I'm not sure if there is causation between green tea and dehydration, but there is certainly a correlation there.

After 7 open heart surgeries I had to take prednisone. The hunger and mood swings associated with this drug were awful. I gained a lot of weight, especially in my face. I also had diabetes while on the medication. But they say the medicine has its purpose.

I have taken hydergine for 15 years. I suffered from apnoea and hydergine effectively controlled the symptoms. While beneficial it seems otherwise to be benign. Now into my 80th year I remain mentally as bright as the brass button on a Warrant Officer's tunic. It also controls ADHD behavior up to 6 hours and probably has more off-label potential not yet discovered.
