After my two surgeries (few years apart) I received Vicodin on both occasions and yes, it did take away a great majority of the pain, however, i was puking nonstop due to the nausea that my doc only advised me to take if absolutely necessary since I was so sick due to it. All my life people described me as being laid-back and happy. But my first year of college I became sad and impatient and moody. I have been very please with Humira. When I was diagnosed with RA and PSA, I wasn't sure I could ever get relief. I was wrong. Within 2 weeks my Psoriasis cleared completely and the pain, swelling, and fatigue lifted shortly thereafter. I have to admit, it is not a pleasure to always know I have to give myself the shot, but the relief I get outweighs the fear. I actually have a life back. The first time I took it, I had no problems and, along with an anti-candida diet, my rashes cleared up.
