Cymbalta has altered my WHOLE life. I feel like I am in CYMBALTA PRISION with no way out. I had been on Cymbalta for almost 4 weeks and I am OFF Cymblta for 4 HELLISH weeks tomorrow (9/16/08) . This drug had got to be watched. I took this drug for nerve pain and ended up LODSING MY JOB

I thought it was the heat dehydrating me, humid weather causing arthritis flare-ups, menopause symptoms coming back, all at once. And maybe even something wrong with my thyroid medicine (a bad batch or needing a dosage increase) But symptom got worse when we went away from the heat on vacation.Towards end of our vacation my husband insisted I stop taking it and I immediately began to feel better. I had taken Marax in the mid 70s and as a 16 year old "in charge" of her medication, I probably took more than prescribed and suffered severe anxiety attacks. Sometimes so debilitating, I wanted to jump out of my skin. Then I would crash and thought I was going to die. This drug is efficient against high blood pressure. I started this treatment almost 10 years ago. It has no side effect and it is a cheap drug.

After my two surgeries (few years apart) I received Vicodin on both occasions and yes, it did take away a great majority of the pain, however, i was puking nonstop due to the nausea that my doc only advised me to take if absolutely necessary since I was so sick due to it.
