Michael Jackson

An autopsy revealed that Michael Jackson died of a lethal overdose of the anesthetic propofol, or Diprivan, which he used to relieve his chronic insomnia.

Seal

Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Seal is physically striking—but those scars come from discoid lupus, not from tribal rituals as is rumored.

I take Ibuprofen OTC for headaches, body aches, cold/flu, joint pain, etc. I usually take 400-600 mg and it is wonderful because it helps with pain and inflammation with NO side effects. When I had my wisdom teeth pulled out I preferred taking 800 mg ibuprofen over tylenol, darvocet, hydrocodone, and percocet. Also, when I broke my foot and had tendonitis I was given prescription 800mg ibuprofen and it was the best thing for the pain and inflammation. I would rather take Ibuprofen then any o... love it!!! had problem in the first month with spotting and no problems with the spotting since....if it happens you are suppose to stop your pill for a week and let your period come before starting it back up. if the spotting occurs it is your body getting used to the new hormones and it means that your body WANTS A PERIOD. it should only happen once and if you stop the pill for a week and start it right back up it will be fine!!!!

Terrible drug. I always felt like I was going to faint. Made it almost impossible to drive a car or function at work. Fell quite a few times due to dizziness. I would not recommend this drug. I never had high blood pressure to begin with, not sure why the Dr insisted that I take this drug. It was 120/70 which I always thought was normal. When taking lisinopril my pressure was 90/50 which I think was too low and why I was dizzy and fainting. I've changed doctors and seen a cardiologist and bot... View full comment

Unfortunately, I have had a real problem with hormonal birth control. I'm currently taking Microgestin, and while I'm kind of miserable on it, it's not as bad as what I experienced with Ortho. My only real complaint is that I have developed contact lens intolerance, and get red, gritty, painful eyes every time I wear my lenses for more than one day at a time. My Dr., of course, doesn't think it's from the pill, but would rather send me to a series of unnecessary (and expensive) tests. G... View full comment
