This medication helped a lot because I had surgery in 2002 for Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) and this medication really helped with my emotional well being. I was on the brand name before but recently got switched to the generic and I like it very much.

July 2009 was when I noticed that my menstral cycle was freaking out and there was no more 28 days in between. I was lucky to get 18 days. Also, they were lasting longer - instead of 5-7 days, they were 7-10 days and heavy cramping, bleeding, and pain. Now - I am 40 years old. Androgel has reduced (to almost eliminated)---the "low level" blues I've been experiencing. However, since I started it (along side another drug)--I've had *EXTREME* fatigue. (to the point of sleeping 24-48 hours STRAIGHT--with only waking up for bathroom breaks). A Drug Rep suggested I up my dosage, I'm waiting to see the Doctor to do this. HORRIBLE MEDICATION !!!! Cough all of the time, itch and don't get much sleep. Also gained 30 pounds. Would not reccomend this at all. I quit today. Enough is enough, hope it gets out of my system quick. Blood pressure has not dropped very much either.
