Lupron Depot was presented to me after my laparoscpy as a means to continue to heal my body from my fibroids and endometriosis. I was convinced by my doctor that this was the normal treatment and this would increase my odds for pregnancy and reduce my pain for 3-5 years.. My 15 year old daughter got 2 out of the 3 required Gardasil shots in the fall of 2009. Two weeks after her first shot, we were in the emrgency room with severe abdominal pain, weeks of tests showed nothing wrong, after her second shot the paid increased and caused a new pain in her back. We again went to ER more weeks of tests - nothing. At this time, I think it is the worst drug I've ever used. I've just had my blood drawn and was found to be overmedicated, which has very serious side effects. I do not feel that my doctor was very concerned and he did not even see me for this. I was seen by the lab and his nurse only for lab tests and vitals. I left the office. Results for my thyroid panel were called to me the same afternoon. I was told to not take any more Levoxyl until Monday (this is Friday) and then take a half tablet.... View full comment

Becoming an on set Adult Diabetic Type 1 was enough shock, including adding shots with medication to a person that would rarely take children's Tylenol was a life change. Lantus gives me the ability to maintain a healthy lifestyle by changing my diet eating plenty of vegetables and having time to learn the lifestyle of a diabetic.
