My 4 month old son has been diagnosed with IS. We have opted to put him on Sabril but would like to hear some testimonials, good or bad, about this treatment. We are going to try it regardless but would like to know what people have experienced so we can prepare for any possible outcome or side effect. Any information we can gain from those who have experienced this treatment is greatly appreciated.

This drug is very expensive (approx $3 a pill/1000mG), and the side effects are horrible. Although they tend to diminish after 6-12 months, the itching and hot flashes are a sure sign from your body that something is wrong. Concentrated fish oils and other remedies work better, and will not destroy your body.

I was diagnosed with General Anxiety in 2003. I briefly went on Buspar and Effexor; Effexor practically put me in a fog, so I didn't end up taking it very long. In 2005 I took on employment at a call center and in 2006 began to have serious panic attacks. Needless to say, preparing to go to work each day only added to the anxiety I felt. I had taken Marax in the mid 70s and as a 16 year old "in charge" of her medication, I probably took more than prescribed and suffered severe anxiety attacks. Sometimes so debilitating, I wanted to jump out of my skin. Then I would crash and thought I was going to die. I switched from Depo Provera (the shot) to Seasonique. I started my pills on a Tuesday. By Saturday I started feeling lightheaded, Sunday I was feeling dizzy, lightheaded, and started having problems with my vision. Monday was horrible I don't know if I was nauseous from the bc or because of my double vision and dizziness.
