I love Yaz- since being on Yaz, my overall moods have become more stable, and my appetite has become more regular. However, I still notice a significant change about a week prior to my period. I crave starchy, sugary foods, and I still get extremely tearful and emotional.

Experienced moderate flushing during my first usage but it occured 12 hours after taking the pill. It was a scary experience because I thought any side effects would hit a lot sooner. Flushing occurred about 4 hours after taking a pill the second day; this time I noticed my knees and ankles turning red - flushing was limited to face, neck, arms the first day. Melatonin only seems to work for a couple times. Then my body must get used to it, because it stops working for insomnia.

I used Mononessa for about 3-4 months. I started back in late February and ended in June. Over that time, I had very intense mood swings and many crying episodes. I usually am a very positive person and I could not get into a good mental place. I was also vomiting much more often and I experienced several intense headaches and multiple mild ones in a month.
