Seal

Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Seal is physically striking—but those scars come from discoid lupus, not from tribal rituals as is rumored.

These are an age-old remedy that seem to work, though they can burp back unpleasantly at times.

I took this medicine to help with an infection with my IUD, my doctor warned me it would cause sensitivity to the sun, but I didn't except it to be this bad. It only take 5 minutes in the sun or shade and I am burnt and my nose has been burnt since I started taking the medicine. It did clear up the infection as far as I know, but I don't think I would take this medicine again.

I had a urine infection {my own fault not drinking enough } so was very grateful with the speed that flucloxacillin worked. I feel very sure that the skin and nail problems I have now are some kind of side effect from the flucloxacillin though. I had never had anything remotely like this before and it started three days into treatment .

My son was diagnosed as Bipolar but was mostly manic and rarely depressed. The doctors started him on Effexor which put him in such a high state of mania that he had to be hospitalized. I couldn't stand watching the doctors do this to him, so I weaned him off everything slowly. He did great for 3 years. Then... View full comment

This medication decreases my blood sugar, and I like it. The only problem is that it gives me mood wings from times to times, especially when I forget to take it.

It's true that the taste is awful, and the bit of numbing is weird! But I have never slept better, and I wake up without any drug effects. I fall asleep about 20 minutes after I take it, so I plan accordingly. I find that it's less "yucky" if I place it under my tongue in such a way that I can make a tight "seal" over it with the rest of my tongue. Then the taste can't get to my taste buds as easily, and I can even swallow while holding it there, if I concentrate :) Fa... View full comment
