after taking the medication for the prescribed length and finishing the bottle, I did recover from having laryngitis. The only problem with the medication with methat if you do not eat a snack or something with it, and you have an empty stomach, I had stomach problems, including diarreah and vomiting.

Sudafed (psuedofedrine) is the best thing out there for sinus congestion & pressure. I use it when I have allergies and it helps with sneezing also, and when I have a cold or flu. I do not experience any negative side effects. Although sometimes it does make me more awake which can be inconvenient at night. Also, buying it from the pharmacy is annoying but it's worth it because it works MUCH better than Sudafed PE (phenylephrine).

In 1984 I was given a single dose (as in One Time Only) of leritine IV push for severe pain and was knocked out for about 4 hours. When I awoke I was legally blind as in almost total darkness; I was later diagnosed with bilateral wet macular degeneration and bilateral neovascularization, the latter of which required laser surgery to arrest its progression. I had pneumonia in July and about a week after I got better from that, my legs began to ache and swell. They've hurt and stayed swollen all this time. I've been seeing 3 doctors and none have been able to tell me why. I heard about this Levaquin thing today and called my doctor to see if that was one of the meds they'd given me as it sounded familiar. Sure enough. They prescribed Levaquin for me July 21, 2009.
