i took this mediacation for a urinary tract infection and started to see results after a few days. The only thing I did not like so much about Bactrim was the size of the pill. It was a bit hard to swallow but other than that I feel as though it was very effective. There was less irritation and I started to feel like I had a healthier immune system.

Has anyone tried going off this nasty drug? I am on day two of weaning down from 300 mgs to 200 mgs daily of Lyrica. Next week I am supposed to go down to just 100 mgs....and the following week should be down to none. My problem is this: I am feeling anxious, easily irritated, have irrational thoughts, and have been driving my poor husband nuts with fits of tears every other hour. Went to the doctor after about two years of being in constant bummed-out moods. He diagnosed me with dysthymia (mild, chronic depressed state), and prescribed me with Celexa. After about a year, my moods are much improved and normalized, I can concentrate on tasks better, and I don't dwell on negative experiences. The main issue with the medication is that I think it makes me a bit more tired, though I have always required a lot of sleep.

It's working on my Prostate Cancer, lowering my PSA from 141 to 75 in one month. Nothing else is working on this aggrressive cancer. Doctors sayif it And it is, that I can add another year to my life. And that's better than the two months or so that I was looking at.
