My daughter was given Yaz because she had horrible cramps and fatigue during her periods. Within 3 weeks she had pain in the back of her thigh - mostly while walking up stairs. Provigil has significantly affected my performance at work and home. I have energy to do things and think very clearly. It keeps me awake and regulates my sleep cycle. It is rather expensive though. I've developed a tolerance, and my libido is significantly decreased. This has led me to switch stimulants, but I do rate Provigil very highly.

Lyrica has given me my life back. My fibromyalgia pain had gotten so bad my flare ups were back to back. I had read horrible things about the side effects of Lyrica and was afraid to try it, until I finally felt as if I had nothing to lose. The pain was gone almost immediately. I take one 50mg pill in the morning and 2 50mg at night so I am not on the highest dose.
