I started seasonique because of hormonal migraines. I dislike taking hormones, but so far it has been the only thing that has consistently kept me from having migraines once a month. I now only get them 1-2 times a year in relation to hormones. I would like to try some more natural alternatives, but this is what works for me right now. I also really enjoy only having my period 4 times a year- especially with the job I have!

I was on Depo-Provera for 14 years, the first year I had occasional spotting for a period and then no period for 13 years. During the first couple of years I lost weight because I was exercising regularly and was very active. Then in 1996 & 1998 I was in a bad accident and not able to exercise and keep active. I went from weighing 140 pounds in 1996 to weighing 270 pounds currently. I thought all of my weight gain, headaches, muscle pain, depression was related to my accidents when the De... I think it is a great medication that really helped me quit after almost 30 years smoking. But the first step to be successful is to really want to quit and then Chantix will help with the effects of withdrawal. In my case the side effects were not strong enough to take me out of the path to reach my goal. It is worth it to try.

Tylenol is fairly effective for me when treating headaches and other pain related problems. However, it usually takes longer to work than Excedrin or Advil. I prefer Advil over other pain relievers.

Purchased Alli when it first came on the market. Followed directions and diet exactly and was rewarded with severe constipation. At the time the drug company wasn't even recognizing this as a side effect and on there forums would only comment that they were looking into it. Ugh Very bad experience. I discontinued use and thank god Costco returned my money.

Benzoyl peroxide is key to clearing up acne and blemishes. It really helps kill the bacteria that causes pimples in a relatively short amount of time. However, using it too much in high concentration can cause dryness and peeling and maybe some irritation. It's best to use it with a moisturizer.
