If my cancer is under control, I question whether I should continue to take it indefinately since I am 85 years old and because it seems to be affecting my memory more and more each year.

This doesn't work for me. I have marked that it raises my stress level because, like another poster, it stresses me out when I go hiking and I can't be sure I will live through an asthma emergency. Luckily Advair keeps me OK.

I am very happy with Lamictal as I have been able to come off of another mood stabiliser (which was causing unwanted side effects) .. it is much more effective for my condition ( Bi polar disorder) .. this medication does not affect my libido like other medication either... the only problem is that it is not a government subsidized medication as it is not recognised as a medication needed for bi polar disorder and so is very expensive... I am hoping that this will change and become more affor... View full comment

I went to my primary care physician today because I've been experiencing extreme fatigue and headaches for some months now. Had a bout of Epstein Barr last summer so assumed I was still fighting the infection or possibly something else was amiss with my health. since taking one pump of estrogel daily i have experienced a decline in hot flushes but have severe headaches every day and generally feel quite low and have a lack of energy.I quite often feel dizzy and my head feels its about to explode I have also experienced a sort of wooshing in my ears and I am unsure if this is due to an increase in blood pressure?

Started taking when after coming back from a trip had a severe pain in my arm doctor stated it was arthitiis to take antiinflamatories a friend recommended the glocosamine and I started taking it the pain disappeares and has never come back.
