My mother was prescribed Actonel by a visiting locum within 48 hours she experienced a tingling sensation all over her body, followed by horrific pain in all her joints which has continued for another 3 weeks and is ongoing. She is also experiencing night sweats, often having to change her pyjamas twice during the night. She is 72, has diabetes and hypertension. I have been using nuvaring over 4 months now. Have experienced no problems. I feel that a lot of complaints from other users is from incorrect use and from unhealthy individuals trying to use a hormonal method. I think that if you are healthy (not overweight, excercise regularly, etc.) before use than you will have less side effects. I was considering Accutane for cycstic acne, but thought the blood tests, joint pain and peeling lips side effects were a bit much. This was a last resort recommended by the dermo I was regularly seeing, and I am pleased with it. I've been using it for several years for acne on my face and occasionally on my back as well. I was prescribed Adderall XR for adult ADHD. It definetly helped with the ADHD symptoms of innattention and lack of focus but I began abusing the adderall and took up to 30 XR mg, 3 times per day. Taking more than prescribed made me very aggitated, hyper focused and made my fibromyalgia nerve pain worse. I stop taking adderall al together.

Started out with 50mg 2x daily for a week, with no improvement. 2nd week took 75mg 2x daily with some good improvement in numbness/tingling. Third wee took 100mg 2xdaily and was so dizzy, could not walk in straight line. Had to hold on to the wall to walk. Only took 3 doses and had to stop. Went back to 50mg till I can get off it. Ataivan works better but does cause some drowziness.

Developed Parkinson's after 4 yrs of Lipitor therapy for "primary prevention". No fly Hx of neurodegenerative ds; no fly hx of cardiovascular ds. Just mildly elevated TC. This was the drug of my choice when I had a SEVERE toothache. I took two at once and a friend, who is a nurse, said that 2 pills are usually enough. After a half hour, I took a third pill, lay down on the couch and fell asleep. I woke up in the middle of the night. I couldn’t feel my toothache, but I also couldn’t feel my legs either. Since I had a very mellow feeling at that time, I went back to sleep and saw a dentist the next day. Vicodin was very effective.
