Since beginning Celexa, I have noticed a great improvement in anxiety levels and pre-menstrual agitation prior to menstruation. It seems that I have more patience overall feel more relaxed in tense situations. I noticed the changes within two weeks of taking the medication. Today my doctor told me to stop the Lipitor because my liver is "not happy". Since being on the drug, I have experienced lower cholesterol. BUT I have also had irregular heartbeat, weight gain especially abdominal, blood in my urine that the urologist can find no reason for, swollen hands and fingers, feet feel sore and hot but look normal, rashes on my arms, weakness in knees, and pain in my right side. Now I use it for absolutely all my scrapes, blisters, etc. It works great, it doesn't make a mess, and you can put a band-aid over it without worrying that it will fall off...

Celebrex worked amazingly. I was completely pain free while taking it. The only negative side effect I experienced was waking up with swollen hands every morning. The swelling would last approx. 1 1/2 hours. But it was painful and I could not bend my fingers. Unfortunately, I had to stop taking Celebrex due to a sensitivity to Sulpha drugs which gives me hives.

I turned 65 this July 28. Five years ago I had, and used weekly, a fitness club membership. I went Kayaking, camping, fishing, walking, played volleyball, and hosted/attended a variety of writing/poetry venues. So far, it seems to have helped lower my choesterol, and I haven't noticed any side effects. I was taking 10mg daily, but I was concerned about possible liver damage and requested my doctor lower the prescription to 5mg.
