I suffer from rapid-cycling biploar disorder & have been taking anti-depressants for just over 10 years - I've been through Prozac, Citalopram, Sertraline, the list goes on... When I switched to Lamicital it had a genuinely life-changing effect for me: I felt "normal" for the first time in my life! - The depression has gone but I still have a touch of the mania left - I wouldn't have it any other way...

I have always suffered from mild panic attacks and anxiety since my parents divorced as a child. For a long time, I thought it was just a flaw when my doctor explained to me some people just need help relaxing their nerves when it comes to stress and anxiety. I have osteo arthritis and bone on bone in my knees. Previously, I took Glucosamine-Chondritin/MSM or Alleve and didn't get anywhere near the good results and had to be concerned about liver damage. I would advise some users to cut back their dosage if they are getting heart palpitations. Four per day sounds waaay to high.

I liked to use the Zicam q-tips, but stopped when i heard they cause a loss of sense of smell. However, I still take the lozenges and think they work well, even if they don't taste very good.

I was prescribed this drug for Fibromyalgia pain. Yes, you feel less pain because you're High as a Kite! At first my husband thought it was funny that I spent my time giggling and walking into things. Obviously not good. This was on a very low dose of 50 mg / 2 x daily. I am very sensitive to this drug and it caused too many problems including memory, confusion, feeling dizzy and/or "high" plus my husband said there was a change in my personality - obviously not a good one.... Unfortunately, I have only recently started to recearch this medication and it's side effects. At first I thought effxor xr was the best thing that ever happened to me, but after taking it for 2 plus years I wish it was never prescribed to me. Everyone is different, I know, but so many people, me included, experience terrible side effects from missing ONE dose. My doctor told me that I am experiencing withdrawal symptoms.
