I have had simular issues. I first started taking chantix Oct 29, 2008. I had terrible abdominal pain and severe nausea. So, I convinced myself to continue taking the drug because I thought nausea and abdominal pain was better than continuing to smoke. Boy was I wrong. I quit smoking on Nov 15, 2008 AND quit taking chantix 3 days later. I knew I had to because chantix was making me very ill. I have been taking Lexapro for a while now, and it has helped me a lot. I was taking Prozac, but I had adverse side effects to that. This seems to have helped me a lot with my depression and anxiety.
