I suffered from general anxiety disorder, mild OCD, and occasional depression and went on Lexapro when I was 18. After about 2 weeks I started noticing improvement and after about 6 weeks I noticed the full effects. My anxiety caused me to have a lot of problems going to sleep and after starting lexapro those issues went away and I was able to sleep much better. so far im having mixed results . my pinky and ring finger on my left hand are very very numb and its sort of disconcerting . my sex drive has not been effected which was a worry for me but while my episodes of mania followed by depression have decreased in frequency they have certainly increased in intensity . only been on affex(20mg pill once a day) for around 9 days so far though so i will be trying longer before i decide to stay on it or try something else

I find the lorazepam relaxes me when I feel that life is out of my control and restores my respespective regarding the situatuion that caused me the stress. It helps me sleep when things will not leave my head alone but goes around and around in my head.

I had taken Topamax before and it had worked great for me for about four years, then I supposed I became immune to it. I was put on Lyrica and it made me feel horrible and I was constantly getting hurt. I am now back on Topmax and hopefully soon the Lyrica will be out of my system.

Site reactions were very bad, lumps and bruises that lasted for weeks. I developed Raynaud's syndrome and had white fingers almost daily until I switched to Avonex, no more problems. The flu like symptoms were horrible and the day after I had NO energy so I ended up being sick most of the week.

I hate this stuff. I get out of breath if I walk up a flight of stairs or if I have to walk and talk at the same time. Erectile dysfunction is becoming more pronounced as well.
