This drug also works as an 'antispasmodic' (slows digestion) making it a godsend for those of us who have had Ulcerative Colitis, Chrones Disease, IBS, Colon Cancer, etc. -related surgeries. I have 3 daughters, all whom have received the gardasil series of 3 shots. My oldest and youngest have not had any major side effects, however, my 16 year old, has had many health problems since receiving her 3rd shot.
