I have been taking Allegra-D for quite some time. Over the past 5 years, I have had increasingly painful menstrual cramps to the point where it affects bowel movements. I recently did some research and found that Allegra-D can be a cause for menstrual cramps. I stopped taking Allegra-D and the menstrual cramping and painful bowel movements have gone back to normal. I like NuvaRing because I don't have to worry about taking it daily, and the only side effect I really experience is an improved complexion. I don't like that it needs to be keep cool, so I always need to be somewhere cool or have access to a fridge.

How did it go with the gyno? There was some evidence in the trials that women who already had HPV when they got the Gardasil shot had a very significantly higher risk of developing cervical cancer. Merck shuffled the trial data to make the numbers go away - I'm sure some of the 're-dos' were legitimate, but hmmm - and got the increased risk down to where the FDA would approve it although they expressed concern. I was given darvocet for my back pain and it didnt do much to relieve the pain that I was having. It made me very tired and not very motivated to do anything.

When this medication was administered through IV I felt as if it worked better, I felt such a great relief but then as I took it sublingual it had a bad after taste and it relieved my nausea but I guess i was expecting the same effect as through IV, but it did help the nausea a lot, and I could sleep better and actually be around food. Great medication besides the bad after taste.
