During the first week I took half a dose and experienced a pretty strong distaste to all foods. Even when I was hungry, the sight and smell of food made me feel sick. This went away during the second week. My only other side effect is that I don't sleep as much as I used to. Also, it tends to wear off suddenly between doses. I'm sure that has to do with my not finding the proper dosage for me (I've only been on it for about 4 weeks), but that is something to keep in mind when considering... View full comment

My Doctor just removed me off Junel Fe. I had 4 surgeries for SEVERE venous insufficiency a few months ago, and now i have developed a blood clot. i am a former athlete and soccer player and am VERY healthy. i started on this pill to prevent ovarian cysts from re-occuring. While hospitalized for a severe kidney infection I received a morphine injection and felt a slight rush through my body. I was numb and couldn't feel a thing, was very comfortable. After leaving the hospital I felt nauseous (although I always feel nauseous when it comes to pain killers) and tired, but still very good on relieving pain.

Although this medication works well for my hypertension, it usually gives me shoulder pain and because of that, I can't lift my arm up. Also, I have leg pain sometimes and can't stnad up once I sit down. Stiff leg. I take it in combination with amlodipine.
