I was prescribed this and Ibuprofen (600 mg tablets) after having my wisdom teeth removed, and it worked very effectively with no side effects if taken regularly as long as the pain persisted.

I've been on many of the meds for Anxiety/stress...Zoloft, Effexor, Lexapro....All with about the same side effects, Lexapro with the least. I was given samples of Pritiq about 10 days ago and these past 10 days have been pretty wierd. I haven't had the urge, nor have I been able to force myself, to do anything. Lyrica has given me my life back. My fibromyalgia pain had gotten so bad my flare ups were back to back. I had read horrible things about the side effects of Lyrica and was afraid to try it, until I finally felt as if I had nothing to lose. The pain was gone almost immediately. I take one 50mg pill in the morning and 2 50mg at night so I am not on the highest dose. it was kind of annoying have to take the antibiotics 2 times a day. plus the added fact that it messes with birth control, made things difficult. other than that it was better taking the meds instead of getting lyme disease
