When I first started Microgestin Fe I had irregular bleeding and started my period early and it lasted for almost 3 weeks. Then I went without having a period for about 10 months. While I didn't mind this it obviously wasn't good so I had to be put on medicine to restart my period and then switch birth controls

This was by far the worst experience of my life. I had taken other BC pills off and on since I was a teen and even though some were slightly bothersome, they were tolerable - I am now 35 and can't believe how awful this particular pill was. I am about to go for a test to see if I had a stroke while on it, as i have had noticeable short term memory loss. I have been diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis (IC). The cause of this medical condition is unknown and there is no known cure. There is no one medication that works for all who are afflicted with this. After trying many other medications with no success my doctor prescribed Urised which is now off the market. Today my doctor told me to stop the Lipitor because my liver is "not happy". Since being on the drug, I have experienced lower cholesterol. BUT I have also had irregular heartbeat, weight gain especially abdominal, blood in my urine that the urologist can find no reason for, swollen hands and fingers, feet feel sore and hot but look normal, rashes on my arms, weakness in knees, and pain in my right side. Simvastatin

I started taking Zocor (simvastatin) for high cholesterol and it has lowered my cholesterol without making any other lifestyle changes (diet or exercise). It has worked consistantly for 10 years and the generic is nice because it was cheap

Becoming an on set Adult Diabetic Type 1 was enough shock, including adding shots with medication to a person that would rarely take children's Tylenol was a life change. Lantus gives me the ability to maintain a healthy lifestyle by changing my diet eating plenty of vegetables and having time to learn the lifestyle of a diabetic.
