I agree with Eammon that when I first started Amisulpride it was like a dream, but as I continued to take it my side effects have increased at an alarming rate. I sleep less than 7 hours each night, I am restless, agitated, have high blood pressure, frequently urinate during the night, unable to concentrate, poor memory, more manic, etc. I was on olanzapine , which was making me too drowsy and the weight gain was worse. Vyvanse helps me concentrate. I feel like I can stay focused on my homework and class work. It doesn’t give me a bad feeling once I feel that it is wearying off. It works very well for me. Overall I feel very good and positive when I take it. If I don't take it I get frustrated while I do my school work. I would recommend it to others who have ADHD or ADD.

During the first week I took half a dose and experienced a pretty strong distaste to all foods. Even when I was hungry, the sight and smell of food made me feel sick. This went away during the second week. My only other side effect is that I don't sleep as much as I used to. Also, it tends to wear off suddenly between doses.
