Since I started taking Yaz, I am more emotional and feel depressed. I use to be a very happy go lucky person...I dont even recognise myself anymore. My friends dont recognise me anymore. I am not going to take my tablet tomorrow as I think it is the Yaz causing it. I will schedule an appointment with the doctor as soon as I can. I cry for no apparent reason and feel angry about the silliest things.

I have always suffered from mild panic attacks and anxiety since my parents divorced as a child. For a long time, I thought it was just a flaw when my doctor explained to me some people just need help relaxing their nerves when it comes to stress and anxiety. I got this prescribed to me for cyst that erupted on my ovary. I took one pill everyday, or when i felt unbearable pain in my abdomen. Made me supper sleepy and drowsy, i could not function at all when i took this drug, my mom said i was saying some strange things when i took it.

Although I had allergic reaction with each infusion, the side effects from the Taxol got better after 7-10 days. I didn't have nausea at all (actually had a very good appetite) except my stomach was queasy for about 7 days after 4th infusion. I had an odd taste in my mouth with excess saliva for a several days after infusions. Very tired but that too improves after 7-10 days. Elavil seems to get me out of my mood swings. I fell like my life is more in control and I have more confidence. I am able to do the daily chores and am able to concentrate better at work. It did give me mild headaces before, at he beginning, but in couple of weeks I got used to this drug. I am very dependent on it because if I skip a dose, I get moody and irritated.
