This is my second round with Lisinopril. I took it previously, lost weight and came off of it. Then, after life's innumerable issues, my BP went back up. I've been on it now for about another year and the symptoms are worse than ever. I've gained an additional 30 pounds that I can seem to lose. Vicks 44 Cough relief cools down my burning throat when I cough constantly. It is actually one of my favorite over the counter medicine because of the fact that it doesn't have such strong side effects like Motrin.

If there was an alternative non drug, then I would not take it. I have chroic urticaria since I was 17 and have never taken a medical drug since because of this. This has not been taken into account by my doctors at all.
