I've ttried several pills over the past couple of years due the awful cramps I get before my period and none of them worked for me. I have taken lithium Carbonate in different variations since 1979 for the treatment of bipolar. Each time I chose to go off it for any reason I had problems and resumed. This has by far been my saving grace to allow me to live a normal life. Any benefits far outweigh the side effects.

80 pound weight gain, developed type 2 diabetes in early 2000's and have it permanently. no one paid attemtion to my weight gain or blood sugar increase as i was taking this. the main individual giving this to me even acknowledged to me at the time that he knew it caused weight gain amd a bad craving for sweets but still prescribed it anyway until it was too late on the diabetes. i've since lost all of the 80 pounds i gained while Using Zyprexa, it tool me some time to do it.
