I took MARAX as a child in 60's, early 70's for asthma. I found it effective, but found it to cause a (to me, scary) side effect my doctor never mentioned: Marax caused me to "see stars" upon rising from sitting position; to the point that this "visual static" (similar to analog TV picture after station goes off the air) made it impossible to see, momentarily, upon rising. I have suffered from migraine's and daily headaches for the last 30 years and am currently seeing a specialist who has come to the end of their recommendations. I am happy with it, don't get me wrong, but I just wish I wouldn't have become another person to not get panic attacks. I've gotten a really bad short term memory, and numb feelings. I get confused a lot too, not knowing what to chose, or what to do, periods like that, not really all the time.
