Please don't start Agomelatine with these side-effects in your mind. Wait and see what it does for you. everybody reacts different and it could be the right one for you! I think, if you you have psychosomatic problems that you can definetely "talk" yourself also into not having a benefit from A., because you read a lot of stuff you didn't like to hear and now you fear you might react the same. When your first medication worked already for you , I think that was fantastic and it even... View full comment

I like Ibuprofen because it's very gentle to my stomach, I don't have any side effects, I used to take tylenol or advil, and since I am very sensitive to medicine, I always got a urine infection after taking any of these two pain relieve medicines.

Oxycodone HCl is far and away the best drug available in the UK for chronic pain. The problem is the blatant lie on box and PIL that the duration of action is 12 hours. In my experience I begin to feel pain at around six and am in agony again by 6.5-7 hours after taking. My doctor refuses point blank to issue me recue medications which I have to obtain through other services than the NHS. Best are the short-acting but potent dipipanone with cyclizine tabs, dextromoramide tartrate (though my... View full comment

Five years ago, dosage reduced by half due to excellent control. Now 77 years old, very healthy, active, walk 4 miles per day in 70 minutes. Least amount of side effects of any medication I have taken in 47 years.

I am taking Proscar (finasteride) in its non-prescribed use as a hair loss drug. After taking it for 6 months, I have seen an effective stop to my hair loss, and an increase in the density of my hair in the front. New vellous (small/white) hairs are popping up around my scalp, and some of them continue to darken. This effect of Proscar almost (ALMOST) makes up for the side effects: -increased back and shoulder hair growth (embarassing) -marked loss of sex drive -occasional problems maintaini...
