I have been taking enbrel since Apr. 15th of this year and find that I am feeling so much better. My immune system seems to be better than before where my hands would swell up, my feet would also swell and had a hard time walking any distance without a walker. I am more active but can't sleep much during the night. I have also gained weight. My psoriasis is gone from my scalp and arms and legs but still suffer some back pain from the rheumatoid arthritis. My joints also feel so much better.

I was on synthroid from 2003 to 2006 and I still had fatigue, brain fog and was still cold all the time. I complained to my endocrinologist and since he declared my labs "perfect" he could do nothing for me, when I inquired about Armour, he said he would not prescribe it. I can't imagine taking this for another 4 years. It was hard enough to get through cancer treatments, but to have to deal with this on top of all that is unconceivable. Trying to keep my vigor and conviction to heal, but without sleep and so much pain it is difficult to say the least. I just recently developed seasonal allergies, so I've been taking this for a few months. I like it more than other meds, such as Benadryl, because it doesn't make you drowsy; you can actually take it at work.

It is very effective, like the other drugs I used to take for malaria. But whoever decides to take this drug should be ready to deal with the side effects which are fatigue, nausea, and sometimes diarrhea
