With Bactrim (generic) I get immediate relief from my chronic prostatitis symptoms. However, during my last two bouts with this condition, I have also had my high blood pressure drop into the normal range. The first time, the drop was extreme so that I discontinued the high blood pressure medication for about 3 months before it returned. Claritin changed my life. I had terrible "seasonal allergies", and unfortunately, my allergies were problematic spring, summer and winter. I am an active athlete, and my performance was greatly effected by my allergies. Since taking Claritin my allergies have all but gone away, and I can lead a normal life.
