I was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) around 3-4 years ago, and since then have tried various dosages of Strattera, Adderall, and Vyvanse. I now take 30 mg of Vyvanse a day and cannot get over the increase in my productivity. I honestly have a love-hate relationship with the medicine. I stopped taking this after the first injection(administered at Dr office) 5 hrs after injection, I developed sysytems of spinal menigitis. Severe fever, vertigo and was unable to lift my head or move without severe pain, dizziness and vomitting for 3 DAYS. I was told, flu like symptoms would occur, symtomps were beyond this. Leritine is the only drug that relieves my pain. My doctor prescribed this drug for me approximately 15 years ago. I used the drug for approximately 3 weeks, until I no longer needed it. Years later, I requested this drug from my doctor, to relieve severe pain. I was informed that the drug was no longer available. I took this drug to treat the shin splints I had from football. I took aspirin while applying and ice pack to my shins. It was effective and the combination eliminated the pain after a one-week period.
