I took levora for about 6 months and had to stop because the side effects. I had never taken the pill before this and didn't know what to expect. I gained about 20 lbs within the first 4 months and constantly had breast tenderness. I had extreme mood swings and a complete loss of sex drive. i have a chronic rash that I can't determine what it is being caused by and wonder if the Bitter Orange is the cause. The rash actually began before I started taking bitter orange and I've attributed the rash to 2 other things, Sucralose (splenda) and my hormones, both of which I have stopped. I realize that any medication or supplement can cause an allergic reaction, but if I were allergic to BO, wouldn't I have other symptoms, not just the rash?

It got me out of a severe depressive episode, for which I am grateful. However, I still experience bouts of depression, often in the afternoon. So it is likely not a long term solution for me.
