AcipHex does not work at all. My acid reflux is not better when I take it. I had to switch to a different medication because it did not help my acid reflux.

I was pissed when my insurance company pretty much forced me to buy the generic (a 3 month supply of ortho lo is $115 vs.$10 for the generic). Being a student, I can no longer afford the name brand BC I trust! HOWEVER, since being on tri-sprintec lo, I have not had ANY side effects. It's just like being on Ortho tri cyclen lo - minus the cool click pack. It's only been one month so far, but, so far, so good. My advice: try it, it just may not be the end of the world! I liked how the redi-tabs dissolved quickly and that they were tasteless. However, they weren't that effective in my case. My condition remained the same, and I took longer to recover compared to other medications I've taken.
