The drug has been working really well for me. My acne cleared up although there are still some red spots left. My skin improved tremendously! I usually take the medicine after eating lunch and dinner. When I take it without eating, I get very dizzy. Sometimes I take it right before I sleep, and my chest would feel heavy. Other than that,Doxycycline Hyclate has been working fine for me.

I would strongly discourage women with anxiety and/or depression from taking this pill. I've suffered from anxiety and depression for years, which is kept in check by medication, however by week three of my first pack of this pill, I experienced depression so severe that I did nothing but sleep and cry for a week. As if that were bad enough, I went through two weeks of daily panic attacks which sent me to urgent care twice and eventually to a counselor to eliminate them. Please tell your doct... Am on with depakote for biploar hypo mania. Was on Geodon and too sedating, Thoughts of death. Tremors really bad treated with cogentin. then got blurred vision and urinary retention. Seroquel was excellent. Increased weight though. Not as seating as Geodon. Went to XR this past week less sedating less carb cravings. Still on both drugs and feel wonderful!

It's a quick fix but the powder is just HORRIBLE/BITTER. Maybe you could introduce flavors to soften the BITTER taste of it.
