I have only been recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia and this is the first treatment we have tried. The pains in my knees as well as my arms as decreased significantly and most days, do not hurt at all. However, my lower back still seems to be an issue. I have trouble sleeping because i wake up in the middle of the night in almost a lock position and can not move, due to such extreme pain.

I agree with Eammon that when I first started Amisulpride it was like a dream, but as I continued to take it my side effects have increased at an alarming rate. I sleep less than 7 hours each night, I am restless, agitated, have high blood pressure, frequently urinate during the night, unable to concentrate, poor memory, more manic, etc. I was on olanzapine , which was making me too drowsy and the weight gain was worse. Doctors changed me from generic Levo to Tirosint. Was fine for the first 6 weeks. At the 6 week mark began to experience pain in my foot which became severe nerve pain, numbness, and tingling in both feet over the course of a 3 weeks. The nerve pain in feet has subsided some, but at the 9-10 week mark began to feel pain when sitting or bending right knee. I did not want to take it initially because I'm used to over the counter remedies, but at the suggestion of my chiropractor, I decided to take it. I am pleasantly surprised at the effectiveness of it. At the same time, I feel a bit relieved that I am not taking too many over the counter anti-inflammatories anymore. I'm not really interested in burning out my liver and/or kidneys!
