Your situation appears similar to mine. I had been taking Avapro (AKA Irbesartan) 150mg 2x daily which was doing the job. Then my drug insurer refused to cover it. Losartan was suggested as an alternative so I began that. I was on 50mg 2x daily which seemed to work; that was in 2012. I moved to a new state in 2012 and changed doctors. I have been taking diferrin for quite some time now. At times it is very effective, but at other times it can do absolutely nothing. Unfortunately, it makes my skin very dry and red. My skin begins to peel. This can be combatted with use of moisturizer. My skin sometimes hurts from it being over sensitized by the medicine.

I have been perscribed Vicodin many times in the past, but this most recent time was very odd. I have experienced many side effects such as insomnia, when I am sleeping strange dreams, and an all over itch for the first day or two that eventually subsided. Overall, this is an ok painkiller, but I find it is really only effective at the start, over the days it seems that it doesn't work as well.
