Site reactions were very bad, lumps and bruises that lasted for weeks. I developed Raynaud's syndrome and had white fingers almost daily until I switched to Avonex, no more problems. The flu like symptoms were horrible and the day after I had NO energy so I ended up being sick most of the week.

I was irritated with things that normally wouldn't bother me, from my boss, to the kids, to the soccer coach, then spending the rest of the time feeling awful for how I responded to them. I had the hormones levels checked and since my body is running efficiently as ever, my doctor suggested Citalopram hydrobromide in 10 mg for the first two weeks. Started taking the medicine for malaria for a deployment to Afghanistan. About three weeks into the regiment, started to have vivid and unique dreams that were often violent in nature. This was a side effect but did not bother me. In fact I enjoyed the dreams a lot. I continued to take mefloquine and eventually stopped after I was back in the states. I never got malaria but my buddy got it and he was taking the same amount I got.
