At first I noticed some hair loss, thought it may be stress. After what was causing stress went away I was still losing handfuls of hair. I was trying hair loss shampoo, went to the Dr's who said maybe diabetes; got tested for that, nope. I started getting super depressed, not that hair is everything, but it for sure is a confidence killer to be balding. No history of balding in the family either for men or women. Loestrin has been effective for me. My periods are much less painful and occur less than they used to (2-3 days every month). I don't bleed hardly at all and cramps are minimal. Also, I've lost weight on Loestrin and I generally feel better.
