Well it worked to prevent pregnancy because there was no way I could've gotten pregnant when I couldn't even have sex since I basically had my period for a month! I have taken this pill for almost 2 years now and have learned that my body likes steady state pills a lot more than tri cycles. The only side effect I had was a small stomach ache within an hour of taking the pill for the first couple days, and it was barely noticable.
