I began with Effexor a few years ago. It worked wonderfully at first, and then I experienced severe side effects. I switched to Cymbalta with great success without the side effects. While I did list side-effects on the product, I believe the side-effects are just a result of mental consequences. Yeast infections are persistent problem, but I think the desperate need to cure the condition is what cause my frustration with the product.

I have no option but to take prednisone but it has destroyed the skin on my legs and it is now paper-thin. I have numerous bruises and am prone to skin-tearing and as a resukt, cellulitis. Prednisone also caused severe cataracts which almost cost me my eye-sight, it has weakened my bones, and elevated my heart beat.

I used Zicam a lot whenever I started to feel sick, and I think it worked (it can be hard to tell because the cold was only developing, but it never got any worse). Unfortunately, I used the Zicam Q-tips as well and lost some of my sense of smell. Now I do not enjoy food as much because I cannot taste it.

I recommend Topamax to anyone who suffers from chronic migraines. The only two side effects I do not enjoy is the loss of taste with soda and slight confusion at times. It's never to noticeable, but at times it does seem I get a little air headed. I rarely suffer from migraines and when I do get one it's never as strong as they were.
