I was on TriNessa since I needed a generic for my insurance. I had no major emotional issues or weight gain. I think it did clear up my face--although I have never had a huge acne problem--only occasional breakout--which I had zero on this med. The problem for me was the breakthrough bleeding. First few months just some occasional spotting--I thought I was just getting used to it--but by month 5--I was bleeding for over 2 weeks straight--not really heavy--but enough to have to wear a pantylin... Since using Agomelatine, I have experienced extreme nausea, headaches, stomach aches, hair loss and loose bowels, I am not sure whether to continue with this medication, I was told that there would hardly any if no side effects, but I have found this not to be true in my case.
