I'm 33 this year and have been using Mirena for 4 years 8 months after having my 2nd child. The insertion was a bit painful and I felt cramps after that, but it didn't last long and was bearable. Tylenol is fairly effective for me when treating headaches and other pain related problems. However, it usually takes longer to work than Excedrin or Advil. I prefer Advil over other pain relievers.

I started spironolactone for my hormonal acne as an alternative to birth control. It takes about 3 months to work, but it works very well! For me, the spironolactone worked very well for 6 months, but has been working less effectively in the last few months
