since taking this drug i have noticed a lot of changes in my body i have alot of muscle pain in my legs arms and hand and right hip i also have tingling in my fingers and have muscle wasting in my right hand i do not think people should use this drug as side effects are bad

Lipitor, and perhaps all fat-soluble statins, will go down as the next falidamide. This drug readily crosses the blood brain barrier and wreaks havoc on cognition/memory/mood. As an added bonus, it is now becoming apparent that Lipitor is especially effective at causing systemic mitochondria DNA mutations (See, e.g., UCSD Study - Dr. Golomb). This medication was prescribed to help with my fibromyalgia. Taking this medication has slowly deteriorated my quality of life. It no longer helped with the pain so I discussed it with my physician and it was decided that I could come off this meedication. The "withdrawal" is the most difficult thing I have ever been through.
