Before taking Topamax I had about 3-4 serious migraines a month--nausea, sensitivity, etc--and almost daily minor ones. Since taking it I hardly get the daily migraines and I only still get about one migraine a month due to my menstrual cycle. I have lost over 10 lbs on the drug (I am now 98-100lbs depending at 5'3") but my doctor doesn't think this isn't a major concern. I started taking Chantix two weeks ago, the first week was fine, while I was smoking, when I quit smoking on the second week I thought that I might have an immunity to the meds because I was climbing the walls... like you do when you are having a nicotine fit, by the end of the second week I developed a skin rash with lesions varying in size from a pin point to a dime size. I works just as tylenol works but a little more specific for cramps. Its works great I just didn't like all the bloating and the feeling that I wanted to throw up. Other than that it was okay.

So far after taking just 3 doses I do not really like the medication. It makes me feel really strange. I get dizzy and lightheaded. I take this drug because I have pressure headaches (idiopathic intercranial hypertension) I have had this condition before when I was a teenager and now as an adult I have it again. Hope this drug works have been dealing with this since Feb of 210 and it is now July.
